Well, I've always wanted to give this blogging thing a try. However, I never thought I had much that anyone would want to read. I'm just a regular working mom of two. I live on the edge of the marshes in south Louisiana, thus the name The Marsh Mom.
I spend my days working full time and supporting my kids in their sports, piano lessons, school projects, 4-H projects (including livestock, hogs and chickens specifically, raising and showing), and joining my husband of 16 years in our journey through this life. I've spent the last more than 8 1/2 years helping my sisters care for my mother following her debilitating stroke. She passed away on October 5. I'll miss her support and wisdom on how to make it through the struggles in this life, but I am happy that she no longer struggles with the effects of her stroke. She lived a good 89 (almost 90) years.
I'll try to get more creative with future posts. I might need help from some of you experienced bloggers to get this right. Thanks for your patience.
